These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Postology (“the Plugin”), a WordPress plugin provided by Postology, registered in France. By installing, accessing, or using the Plugin, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Plugin.

  1. Definitions

The following terminology applies throughout these Terms: “Plugin” refers to the Postology WordPress plugin and all its features and functionalities; “Credits” means the units used for generating summaries within the Plugin; “Pro License” refers to the lifetime license with unlimited updates; “Summary” means any AI-generated bullet points of article content created through the Plugin.

  1. Service Description

Postology is a WordPress plugin designed to enhance reader engagement by automatically generating article summaries using AI technology. The service provides article summary generation, comprehensive analytics tracking, extensive customization options, and multi-language support. The Plugin integrates with WordPress to provide seamless functionality for content enhancement and reader engagement optimization.

  1. Licensing Terms

4.1 Free Version
The free version of Postology includes an initial allocation of 100 credits for new users. This version provides access to basic features as described on our website and operates on a pay-as-you-go credit system for additional usage. Users may purchase additional credits as needed to continue using the summary generation feature.

4.2 Pro License
The Pro License is provided as a one-time payment that grants lifetime access to the Plugin. This license is valid for a single website installation and cannot be transferred to another website. The Pro License includes unlimited updates and grants users the option to utilize their personal OpenAI API key for summary generation. Support and maintenance are included as specified in these Terms.

4.2 Pro License
The Pro License is provided as a one-time payment that grants lifetime access to the Plugin. This license is valid for a single website installation and cannot be transferred to another website. The Pro License includes unlimited updates and grants users the option to utilize their personal OpenAI API key for summary generation. Support and maintenance are included as specified in these Terms.

  1. Credits System

5.1 Credit Usage
Credits serve as the currency for generating summaries within the Plugin. Each summary generation consumes one credit from your account. Credits are non-transferable between websites and do not expire. Users can purchase additional credits at any time, with a minimum purchase amount of $5. The Plugin provides various credit packages to accommodate different usage levels and budgets.

5.2 Credit Pricing
We offer multiple credit packages to suit different usage requirements. The 2,500 credits package is priced at $5 ($0.002 per generation). For higher volume users, we offer 11,000 credits at $19 ($0.0018 per generation), 30,000 credits at $49 ($0.0016 per generation), and 105,000 credits at $99 ($0.001 per generation). Pricing is subject to change with notice to users.

  1. Payment and Refunds

We process all payments securely and accept major payment methods. All prices are listed in USD. Users may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if the Plugin is not functioning as described. To initiate a refund, users must contact our support team at co*****@***********ro.com with a detailed explanation of the technical issues encountered. Refunds are processed after technical verification of the reported issues.

  1. OpenAI Integration

Pro License holders may utilize their personal OpenAI API keys for summary generation. Users implementing their own API keys are subject to OpenAI’s terms of service and rate limits. The management and security of personal API keys are the responsibility of the user. Postology does not store or share API keys with third parties.

  1. Support Services

Our support team is available during business days via email and live chat. All support services are provided in English only. Pro License holders receive priority support attention. Users can reach our support team at co*****@***********ro.com. Response times may vary based on inquiry volume and complexity.

  1. Data and Privacy

We maintain analytics data for a period of one year, tracking only view counts and click rates for plugin functionality assessment. Generated summaries are not stored on our servers. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect user data and comply with GDPR requirements. No personal data is shared with third parties unless required by law.

  1. User Obligations

Users must maintain a current WordPress installation and use the Plugin in compliance with all applicable laws. The Plugin may not be reverse engineered, redistributed, or resold. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their websites and ensuring compatibility with their WordPress installation.

  1. Limitations of Liability

The Plugin is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for content accuracy, service interruptions, or server downtime. Users acknowledge that the Plugin’s functionality depends on various factors outside our control, including but not limited to internet connectivity and WordPress compatibility.

  1. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms with notice, update the Plugin as needed, change pricing for new purchases, and modify or discontinue features. Users will be notified of significant changes through email or notices within the Plugin interface.

  1. Termination

We may terminate service immediately if terms are violated, the Plugin is used for illegal purposes, the service is abused, or required payments are not received. Upon termination, users must cease all use of the Plugin and remove it from their websites.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the French courts. Users agree to submit to the jurisdiction of these courts for any legal proceedings related to these Terms.
